The machine allows for the production of samples of a defined thickness directly from finished rubber or thermoplastic products (30–75 Shore A).
The thickness is adjustable between 0.5 and 8 mm and can be set via a control panel with a digital display accurate to 0.01 mm: a significant advantage for preparing homogeneous and repeatable samples, in accordance with the sample preparation procedures specified by ISO 23529, ASTM D1056, and ASTM D3183.
The motorized steel feed rollers, with selectable speeds (0.9 – 1.8 – 2.8 m/min), ensure constant movement of the workpiece, while the band blade, lubricated on both surfaces and equipped with automatic sharpening with micrometric adjustment, guarantees clean horizontal cuts.
The micrometric blade position adjustment and the optical unit for controlling bevel symmetry help maintain quality over time. The wide working width (300 mm), CE marking, and accessories such as the removable vacuum unit and dedicated lubricant complete a tool designed for those who need to prepare reliable samples with efficiency and repeatable results.
The machine permits to produce samples with customer defined thickness starting from finished products. The part to be cut is inserted between the motor-driven feed steel rollers and a blade, which position can be regulated with 0,01 mm accuracy, splits the part horizontally.
The high quality mechanical construction of the machine, the sharpening device with micrometric drive, the adjustable feed speed and the integrated lubrication system of the blade ensure excellent results while splitting rubber or thermoplastic products with hardness between 30 and 75 Shore A.
