Gibitre steel dies, which comply with international standards, enable the production of test specimens with consistent geometry for reliable material testing, in accordance with the procedures required by major specimen preparation standards, such as ISO 23529.
Made of die steel and heat-treated for hardening, they guarantee a long service life. The availability of a spring-loaded ejector simplifies and speeds up sample extraction, improving workflow in the laboratory and in quality control. The calibration traceability to primary standards allows for the documentation of conformity and links the results obtained from measuring instruments to reference metrology.
The dies are designed for use with Gibitre’s Manual-Die-Cutting die-cutting machine but can be supplied with specific mounting shanks to adapt them to die-cutting machines from other brands.
All dies are supplied in a protective wooden box and are designed for multiple re-sharpening, thereby keeping costs down over time without compromising precision. Choosing them means standardizing sample preparation and increasing the reliability of measurements.
Gibitre provides cutters conforming to international test standards.
The cutters are used for preparing samples using a cutting machine (produced by Gibitre or other).
Most of the cutters can be fitted with a spring ejector for the easy extraction of the sample.
All the cutters are provided with a wooden protection box.
All the cutters can be re-sharpened several times.
The cutters are supplied with Calibration Report with traceability to primary standards.
A calibrated 3D optical machine is used for testing the conformity of the critical dimensions of the cutter.
The multiple dies allow to significantly reduce the time for the preparation of the specimens: three specimens can be prepared with a single cutting operation.
Fittings with customer defined dimensions can be produced for adapting the cutters to all models of cutting machine.
