Automatic Test Stop
The standard execution of the flexion fatigue tests (ISO 132 - ASTM D813) requires that the instrument stops when the number of cycles has been carried out in order to check the state of the specimens before the continuation of the test.
Normally the test stop occurs in a random position but in the event that the specimens remain bent for a long time pending verification the test results could be strongly staggered.
The New Feature
The new version of the instrument incorporates a feature that automatically brings the specimens to the total opening position when the test is stopped.
The fatigue and crack growth tests are very sensitive to the test variables and we believe that this modification can contribute substantially to the increase in the repeatability of the results.Read All about Gibitre Fatigue Tester
