Overview 
The use of samples with constant volume for rheology tests increases the test repeatability.
In fact, undersized samples don’t fill the test chamber completely and oversized samples require longer thermal recovery time at test start.


Instrument Characteristics 
Gibitre volumetric cutter has an exclusive adjustment system, which permits to set the machine to obtain samples for:
- Moving Die Rheometer
- Oscillating Disk Rheometer
- Mooney Viscometer


 
A puncher, incorporated in the instrument, permits the central hole to be made in the lower sample for the Mooney viscosity test.
The pneumatically-activated safety panel ensures the conformity of the instrument with CE safety requirements.
